    CRIS wellness groups offer diverse therapeutic approaches and community support to help newcomers build resilience and improve mental health. Focusing on refugee’s unique social determinants of health, we reduce stigma through education, creative activities, and social connection. Our safe, inclusive environment empowers participants to overcome challenges and thrive in their new life.

  • Overview:
    On Board(hers) is a creative space where multilingualism and cultural pluralities are valued. It aims to create a sense of community by facilitating transformational community storytelling through movement. In our workshops, we dance, explore our own voice, share stories, and create together.

    1-2x/week from January-March 2025
    Final performance on April 1, 2025

    Requirements:
    No dance experience required
    Any immigrant is welcome
    English proficiency is not required, instruction is primarily non-verbal
